Agreed, germany dont play with an out n out striker so need someone sitting in front of the defence to block space that their false 9/no10s drop into but he doesnt do it Been poor for a while now, no plan B and we struggle when we go behind in games Lack pacey players that can get a team up the pitch n allow you to play on the counter more
Thought Scotland looked really good in qualifying but they've reverted back to how they played before it
Last couple games we were poor, and the friendlies have been awful Clarke plays the same players all the time so when a couple miss out we dont know what to do
Barmy this by Scotland. Space betweem the two main lines, space out wide. You really cant have both. At any level. Germany dont even look outstanding. If I were playing them I would get to wingers high and hit them early. Their own gaps between defence and midfield is awful. That tackle is worth 2 red cards as well. Really let his mates down there. Who is the viking playing for Germany. In my playing days he would have been a target I would have smashed him early, 50/50, and see how he felt after that. Way too passive Scotland.
