Cufeintes was nailed on last night, now Lampard.

Thing that makes me doubt Cifuentes is that it would be all over the papers before an announcement about him, because we'd have to agree compensation. Can't see how none of our press, the athletic, or QPR's press wouldn't hear of that before it happened.

Lampard on the other hand could feasibly be announced without many knowing about it.

 

Does get info tbf, reckons he’s getting well backed too, which id hope any coach would be, Haway Frank then I guess

 

They're the worst penny pinchers I've ever seen, i get the whole self sufficient shtick, but they'll not even spend money to save money.

 

I’d be ok with Lampard.

Done well in this division before, worked well with young players and is a big name.

 

This would be my view. I’d be okay with him.

Not overjoyed, but not livid either. Right bang in the middle okay. Same as Rosenior, and same as Mowbray when we appointed him.

 

They've got previous for it so wouldn't surprise me

 

I think the players would respect and look up to him.

The knowledge he could pass on to Rigg and Neil would be invaluable too.

 

TBH after the Hume affair it wasn't the wildest of guesses, I think many expected it ...

... not that I'm disputing what the lad is saying.

I just don't believe Lampard would come here when the QPR job will be coming up soon

 

I feel Lampard would either work wonders or be ****ing hopeless, don’t see a middle ground with him, I’m also right less often than a stopped clock so just have to see how it plays out

 

I agree with the leaks regarding the QPR manager. Not so sure about Lampard, he'd want his name out there asap I reckon

 

If you don’t spend money that makes you win games it’s weird you choose this industry

Do you know why Neil didn't sign the contract when it was on the table.

On a different tack, not knowing anything about the injury, it has to be said we've had a real problem carrying players with long term injuries.

Seelt, Cirkin, Huggins, Evans, Stewart, etc, have all been expensive.

 

Diamond was released I think mate.

 

Don't you think Lampard would want much higher wages.
