Only just across the border from being neighbours of mine. I was secretary of a fishing club on the outskirts of their fair city (?). Drive past their ground regularly. Worse than being a gog, I live in Ingerlund.
Nothing derogatory to say about IB. A true and honest City fan. As for Boris he wouldn't know his best if it jumped up and bit him on his arse - much as he would enjoy it!!!
Thank you BFB. We have so much in common. Bluebirds till we die. Follow the Spurs as well. And of course seasoned park runners.
I love you BFB, do you love me IB....WTF? What about the heavy bloke, not talking about him or Masky enough...shake your ideas up, no room for sentiments on Masky’s thread, where men are men and Remote’s lot are a worried flock....flock off I say! Masky
I have always had a fondness of Wrexham. Always liked seeing them do well. I picked them quite often on old Football Manager games because they were a challenge to get promoted from the dungeons. They have owners who actually show passion, who actually know how to market a team, who actually listen to their fans and get involved with their celebrations. I think there is absolutely a lot of jealousy surrounding them at the moment and I am all for it! Good on them! However, like many other fans of other clubs, I am getting a little tired of seeing them splattered all over sport media platforms (SPORTBible being the absolute worst of the worst for it!). With that being said, its still better than the usual tripe being spouted about the obvious big 4!
Jay-Rede, good to hear from you pal, notice you have 600 likes, a few thousand less that Masky! However, BFB has over 9000 and your comments were so intelligent where his are not WTF? Do you think as Masky does that he’s playing with the system? Masky
Me neither. Can't be doing with their La La Land razzmatazz. 50k seater signing? Sign Gareth Bale when he's not kicked a ball in anger for well over a year? Reynolds also criticised the local planners as he couldn't understand why they wouldn't agree to the stadium. It will all end in tears once he gets bored.
Can probably find you a dragon of a woman though... especially if you venture towards the Foresters!!!
I still recall the days when City & Wrexham were in division 2 battling for the honour of Wales’ no 1 club. (Swansea were in div4 then) Winning 2-1 up there getting soaked in their open terraces was a highlight. Just got back in time to see a rare outing for City on Match of the Day to relive John Buchanan’s brace! I couldn’t abide them then and can’t now.
