Sorry should have worded it better. Not the right thing to do for the club, the right thing to do for him. I meant at least he was intentional about what he was doing, rather than having it happen due to lack of ability
He failed because he didnt have a clue. He had no plan whatsoever, sold talented youngsters for next to nothing and had no vision for us Kld has a plan, it might not be getting implemented well at the minute but we are in such a better place than your pal
This is really poor mind. I wasn’t even sold on Rosenior but to be binned by yet another manager there’s something clearly not attractive about our proposition and my gut feeling is it’s the staff rather than transfers.
I don’t think it matters who we appoint now, all faith has been lost by a fair chunk of the fan base, worried we’re going to end up with someone who is out of their depth and only taking the job because they’ll never get a chance at a club this size otherwise flat as **** about it all
I just see it as the lads are on a break and they'll talk about ****e when they get back? He's had plenty game time and I'm sure he'll get more next season. I very much doubt the club and players are going on like some of our fans tbh.
Maybe we pushed Rosenior for an answer and that's why he has pulled out because he wants to be interviewed by Burnley. Our club could have saved themselves the headache by making a shortlist of coaches in Europe used to this set up rather than going for coaches that aren't
There’s no indication it’s the nearly certain the end of Rigg at all tbh. Situation is hurting him staying of course but nowhere near certain he won’t sign a deal. Can’t disagree more about Donald, he didn’t think he was doing the right thing, he was selling our future to help fund the club because he had no business owning a club like ours with his wealth (he used the parachute payments to even get his shares which I’m not even convinced he repaid). Bloke was a disgrace
I've always dismissed the rumours that KLD wants to sell up but i'm starting to wonder if these managers are turning the job down with any knowledge of a potential sale coming in the future and they think it's too much of a risk?.
Surely he knew this before he decided to take on the club? That being the case he gets no sympathy from me for being an inept businessman.
Rank these managers in order of what makes you the most furious: Alex Neil Chris Hughton Graeme Murty Gus Poyet Sam Allardyce w/ Kevin Phillips as assistant
Yeh my wording was bad re: Donald. I meant he was acting intentionally rather than letting things thru the cracks
Cheers mate no problem Its a touchy subject really hate some people re writing history to make SD look good and slag off KLD.
If he cannot see this pattern that has been forming for donkies of managers not wanting to work in these parameters set by Speakman then he truly is the thickest business man in the world
Even tho he s hit on us from a great height.. I wouldn’t have a problem with Alex Neil coming back tin hat on
Way way way out of his depth, and he was the author of the Oxford kidnap story during lockdown, which was absolutely pathetic.
