Obviously don't have a clue but would imagine first one is potential head coach setting across ideas and selling himself, second would be how they fit into our club and model and third would be finalising details i.e pay. Think you could easily do that in two interviews as well but can't see a need for more than three
Same here, but then again there’s hundreds of millions at stake here so probably a lot more difficult than what I do haha if they’re still unsure after 3 meetings then I think it’s not the right fit for either party
He was previously assistant manager under his Dad for the Greek national team, but not anymore, so no impediment to him signing with us.
By Alan Nixon Liam Rosenior is OUT of the race for the Sunderland job in a shock twist. Rosenior pulled out of a second interview with the Black Cats after thinking over the move. The former Hull City chief is hoping for a chance of the Burnley vacancy although insiders claim others are ahead in the chase. Sunderland are now looking again for a manager. They will have to dig deep to land Martin Cifuentes from QPR or move further down their list.
This is what worries me when names are linked with no solid foundation. The narrative now will be that Rosenior knocked us back when he might not even have been a serious candidate in the first place, regardless of whether he spoke to us or not (I recognise the irony that I'm basing this on a tweet from Nixon lol)
Are we really gonna attempt to get cifuentes if we've had 3 coaches turn us down. Surely a light bulb moment should be happening for KLD to change the very thing that is causing these coaches to say no
The fact there was 3 talks, I would imagine there are sticking points again. Probably the 2 assistants he wanted. That's what done Still over.
