Before the Fulham game I think Short told him he had the four upcoming games to save his job. Bruce himself targeted 7 points, I think? So I reckon if we lose on Sunday he will be gone
Four games on the trot against bottom 6 teams? We should be targeting 9 or 10 from that, if we really are to have top 8 aspirations. Admire your OP sentiments, Cest, but he's blown it as far as I'm concerned.
I think that the Blackburn game is a £10 entry and this may increase the turnout..... In fairness I'd rather be watching Sally Gunnell in a bongo flick than going, but I'll be there.
what a sad excuse for a little boy you are, not fit to mention Speeds name never mind put his picture up on your drivel
So it has come down to the board taking it 2-games at a time....where's the vision in that? Say we win both and then lose the next 10 is that satisfactory given the 2-games won. 30-points taken in 30-prem games in 2011...that is relegation form (where 2-transfers windows passed too). We all support SAFC (that's why we are so passionate/react as we do) but surely the board should be taking stock and realise this is not about 2-games but 11-months of poor performances and more concerning no real feel matters will improve under SB. Forget fat this and Geordie that the simple truth is he ain't cut out to take us to the next level passed 10th place.....surely someone on the board can see this. In the meantime here's to 3-points on Sunday....not for SB but because we are desperate for them.
I will be amazed if SB is in charge for the Blackburn game. I will be watching and supporting the lads though (via SKY unfortunately) Bruce has deffo lost the majority of fans, including me now = so there is no way back. Fack off Bruce you geordie c u n t BART
Hello everybody. I've been off the board for about a week now through a computer failure - to put it simply, it was as old and knackered as I am. Well, got a shiney new Compaq now and trying to catch up on the comments. Cest, everyone, listen - you know I've wanted Bruce out since about March or April, and that I'm with everything written on this board since Saturday's debacle. But let's be real here. Short and Quinn dance to the fiddle that Sky T.V. plays these days. They don't give a brass sh*t for you and me. Bruce will be manager of Sunderland A.F.C. in 2014. That's the truth of the matter. I hate it as much as you do. But, sadly, that's where the game has gone. Good luck in your search for something else to do on a weekend. I really do mean that. Best wishes, all.
I will always back the team 100%, whoever is picking the side. I appreciate the original sentiment here though Cest.
