Fair enough… I completely disagree and think the owner has f ucked up big style here. But I respect your opinion
What has he ****ed up? What difference would it be if we'd appointed a Head Coach the day after the Sheff Wed game? What would he have done in an empty AOL for the last month or so?
Def dont think theyve f ucked big style, has it been ideal - no it hasnt Itll only be a nightmare if we take ages and appoint a shocking manager
Not sure if our scenario is comparable to any other club but I agree the countdown is a bit daft. Not many clubs sacked their manager with no replacement available, eventually replaced him with someone less tactically aware than a lettuce. Sacked him and replaced him with an equally tactically aware temporary lettuce, essentially writing off the season mid Feb. Then basically a media blackout for 34 days since the season finished, followed by a random "imminent appointment" from the board 5 days ago. There are a minority of fans overreacting and a larger number of fans quite rightly frustrated. It's never boring being a Sunderland fan
Personally think if we don't have a manager in place by Friday this week, start of the transfer window opening, there is serious cause for alarm like. I know Speakman/Harvey handle transfers but they should be signing players that fit the system the head coach wants to play. I don't want us to be behind even a day this summer after the ****show we were served up last season. It's crucial we have a good window. Not to mention that Rigg won't sign a new deal until he's spoke to our new head coach, and he's turning 17 next week and will therefore be eligible. So aye, Friday at the absolute latest for me. Leaves the new head coach just over a week until the players are back with which time to plan out the season.
Same here or maybe Monday at a push. Sounds like we have done our final round of talks as the echo said we were gonna do that early this week and it's been reported we were gonna have a second round of talks with rosenior by nixon yday (if u believe him). Should have some clarity soon
It's gone on too long...obvious the powers that be are out of their depth and should just give up and hand over the reins.

Just going off this... https://www.wearesunderland.com/news/24375592.chris-rigg-set-decisive-contract-talks-sunderland/
For me it’s no difference to any business… Staff need clarity on who is running things. We have Rigg stalling on a contract until this debacle is sorted. When they Sacked Beale do you actually believe they had a plan … that’s where I think he f uckef up. He wrote off a third of season with people having paid hard earned money for a season. It was clearly apparent that Dodds was not the answer.. then feeling the murmurings that the fan base were uneasy with delay released a statement last Friday. Again, a huge mistake. It clearly wasn’t “ imminent” he should have kept quiet until it was done. It smacked of slight panic to pacify people. But as I say it an opinion.. ad my old boss used to say “ opinions are like at$eholes, everybody got one”
