Don’t disagree for what it’s worth. But we can’t knock the progress the bloke made.

    Get ready for

Central midfielders playing at full back
Central midfielders playing on the wing
    Central midfielders playing up front

with fullbacks, wingers and strikers all either sitting on the bench or out of the squad.

Definitely not, progress was there. But being hyper critical, anyone could progress us with the squad at his disposal after finishing were we did the season before. Sunderland will be a much tougher test for him, with arguably higher expectations and also a higher starting point

Nobody was expecting him to be sacked but most, if not all, people I’ve spoke to about it not on this forum have said it was boring to watch and were happy for him to be replaced by someone more likely to play more entertaining football. Obviously improving results as well.

A lot of Rosenior’s endearment to City fans was due to him playing for us. It earned him a lot of good will among the supporters that a manager with zero connection to the club wouldn’t have had with similar results and performances. It’s the Solskjær/Lampard Effect.

So what you're saying is, Slater is ready made to be the main man in that Sunderland team.

Wouldn't be surprised if rosey came back with offers for slater and allsop.I don't think there are any others that he would want that he would have a chance of getting

But it does, unless the Sunlan fans can talk to every City fan, they look on here, Twitter or any online group to get views, I suggest everyone was frustrated by the way we played at home, but delighted how we played away, for you to deny that is your agenda

I'm not denying anything, there's just more posts on this thread from those who've been slagging off Rosie all season, than there is from those who haven't. Probably because it's been done to death and nobody can really be arsed to debate it all again.

I aren’t sure you’re as correct as you think you are, around my seat there was a lot of just criticism by the end of the season so again I implore you to stop waffling for others

I think he'd fancy Seri and have a chance of getting him?

The fact the rose tinted brigade haven’t said as much as the minority bedwetters on this post, might indicate the minority is as minor as you think

Ultimatley the only seat that matters is the one that acun sits in….so any Sunderland fan can read his reasons for sacking Rosie…..which pretty much in the same as the bedwetters

I mean it matters to Acun sure as he makes the decision. Doesn't make him infallable in making said decision however. We've only heard his side to the story and I doubt we never really hear the other side for a long time given how this game works

I met Slater in portugal last weekend he said he’s not going anywhere and can’t wait to start. He should thrive under the fluid system Walter wants to bring too
