Off to New Zealand beginning of Feb. for 10 weeks - we have family and friends over there and absolutely love the place. (we're both well into retirement so no great need to hurry back!)
We're off on our cruise Saturday, so I hope the HC situation is sorted by then, or I'll be a tad pissed. We make it a rule, not to use our mobiles when we are onboard, so I'll be on radio silence until we get to Madeira on the 18th June. We're doing the Canaries, Spain and Portugal too. Two weeks of relaxation after a pretty crap year.
2hr change over in Doha, 10hrs in Melbourne so we'll book into an airport hotel (fortunately it's overnight) then 4hrs to Wellington. The actual flying time is approx. 25hrs we're fairly used to it though!
Superb. Oz/NZ is on my bucket list, but waiting for the kids to grow up a bit so I don't have to take them with me
My mate just arrived back from a cycling holiday around the world with his girlfriend, been away 16 months.
Im currently in Durban South Africa with work for 4 weeks, they've put us up in a really posh hotel and weekends are my own so ive booked a few safaris over the coming weeks. Result.
That’s what I said to them when they were halfway through there journey through Afghanistan not the best of roads.
