Amazing scenes as the IDF rescue a load of hostages from Hamas. They were held in amongst civilians, near a school. Standard for Hamas
So, as it’s already become a dirty campaign, no reason not to tell Reform supporters that Farage IS a German citizen, if only to force him into agreeing it or denying it.
It comes as dozens of Palestinians, including children, were killed on Saturday in the area where the operation took place Truly a time for celebration
It’s going to be quite interesting to see which way the right wing media swings, in the next few weeks before the election. The Tory mouthpieces, the Telegraph, Mail, Express and Sun have also been quite keen to support Farage with his anti immigration agenda but do they keep on supporting his policies, even if it means Reform pushing the Conservative Party into 3rd place, or do they ramp up their support for the Tories by doing the dirty on Farage, in an attempt to undermine him? I expect the duplicitous bastards will hedge their bets and try to ride two horses at the same time, but I would love it if one of them revealed something about Farage that ended his time as a front line figure in politics.
Trying to ride both horses at the same time might well be the most useful approach for those that want the Tories beaten heavily Could anything really be revealed that would end Farage though? I’m not sure. He’s already a very wealthy ex trader who has convinced lots of people he’s just an ordinary bloke who looks out for the common man and that you can have a pint with. Similar to Trump in a way where lots of the American poor think he’s out for them and the evangelicals seem to think not only that he’s a Christian but somehow something close to the second coming What could really sink farage ? That people wouldn’t somehow claim is fabricated? Not sure even a recording of him saying Brexit is all BS and he did it just for money and power would do it. Accusations of a “personal” nature will probably just be treated like those against Trump and Brand - “we need to see all the evidence and he needs to be found guilty in a court”. And of course even then that won’t be good enough and will still be excused with reasons like corrupt courts / politicised trials etc We’ve seen it. So I’d be intrigued whether there really is anything
Le Pen destroys Macron at the European elections. Seems France have also had enough of the mass immigration policy
Does anyone know how much longer he could have waited? Seems mad. Another damage limitation election ?

Looks like Labour will include setting up nurseries in primary schools, which I am quite sure is something I suggested a few months back. Not sure if I also suggested setting them up in hospitals as well, but if not I think that would also work, as they possibly have closed ward space. It seems that some schools have an excess of class rooms, as a result of birth rates dropping, creating a space that can be used for the nurseries. You also have the added benefit that all the staff in the school would have been DBS checked, creating a safe surrounding for the nurseries.
Hope this link works but is is scarily accurate to what is happening now. Rik Mayall at his best as Alan BStard https://fb.watch/sCIKUYKe_v/?
Seems to be a suggestion that the government was possibly about to collapse anyway, so this is an attempt to get the initiative. Also if Le Pen’s party do win perversely it could give them a couple of years to tarnish their reputation before the next Presidential election.
Reverse also happened in the Nordics, with the left gaining substantively: https://www.thelocal.se/20240609/nordic-left-wing-parties-gain-far-right-declines-in-eu-vote European elections have a heavy domestic component, in that they're viewed as a fairly low-stakes way to protest against the government of the day, and because they're typically lower-turnout to begin with, they tend to be fairly swingy. In France/Germany, that meant large gains for the right; in Scandinavian countries which have (by their standards) right-of-centre governments, it meant surprisingly large gains for the left and underperformance by the hard right.
C&P from Linkedin, the last paragraph is pertinent to the upcoming election "To most people, this is a picture of some chocolate caramel shortcake (and fabulous it is too) But to me, it represents hope, passion, and a future. Why? Because my daughter made it. She is nearly 18, and struggled her way through school with global learning difficulties and ADHD. I have lost count of the number of trips I made to school to ask for support, to ask for her not to be given detention for not doing enough detail in her homework, to ask for her not to read aloud in class because she has a reading age well below her actual age and she finds it excruciating. The list is endless. I was told since Primary school that she needed an EHCP but “she won’t get one in Warwickshire as they’re like hen’s teeth.” The system failed her entirely and she has zero GCSE’s. But she can bake. And after many years of her doing this at home as a hobby, she has been taken on by a little tea shop near us, and they’ve offered to train her as a baker. They’ve even replaced their Millionaire’s shortcake with hers because it’s so good. She has finally been given a chance to do something she loves. This gives me hope that she will be ok and find her way in life. It shows that we all have value and have something to contribute. Whoever comes into No. 10 next needs to review how we support children, who have other qualities that contribute to society, and stop making GCSEs the ticket to their self esteem and success." please log in to view this image
