Long day today. D Day celebrations of the Normandy landings. Very happy with a 4 given the week I've had. Waiting to see if I made the 30s club
Par. 2 juiceys, 3, turned them into hughies, struggled then tried what was the right word to secure my par putt. Never heard of this word before so consider myself lucky.
Yet another Les Dawson start, one juicy, Hughies 2 & 3 and a juicy, then a delicate chip led to what I think is a very good par to start my week
4. Not sure how I did it as the letters I had right only seemed to make it more difficult- if that makes sense. Bit of a hopeful guess in the end and it came off YYOOO GGGOO GGGOO GGGGG
A bogey 5 to start the week. Word 5 was trial and error, loads of words that weren't words....took a while. Weekly chart to follow later.
happy with me par, another schoolboy error actually sorted it for me, missed the yellow from guess 2 out so effectively had all the letters on guess 3 leaving a nice little tap in for the par
par four Never heard of that word - a load of daft guesses with words that werent even words got me there
Chart for the Week....get in done now while the Mrs is hooked up to R2D2. Hope I've counted the buggers up right this week. Quite a decent week score wise, with x6 scores under 24 and only x1 in the 30's club. X1 fail for the week (@SAFCDRUM) who, to his credit, rescued his week and avoided the 30's club, and x1 forgot (@Ron), who didnt. On to Star of the Week ...and we have a new winner. Coming out on top with an outstanding week, and an outstanding score of 19, this week's top spot goes to @Blond Bombshell. Well done mate, I said you'd had a cracking week. Think that might be your first weekly win. Runner up spot, with an excellent 21, is @cumbrianmackem. Consistently good at this Honourable mentions to @Row 3 with 22, @flandersmackem with 23, and @Best uncapped Keeper & @malagamackem both with 24. And finally, the 30's club. Just the one member this week, lowest we've had for a while.
Well done Blonde, nice to see a new face top of the tree, thanks again Snaggey, you never fail to deliver.
