We could hire Neil Warnock and some of you would claim he was the only one we were ever after man.

For what its worth, i know we at least had talks with Jansen. I don't know when or at what stage those talks were at but i was told Jansen has spoken to the club

A few have mentioned it but i wouldnt be surprised if its someone that hasnt been mentioned yet

Def not from me, we will be interviewing several candidates as thatll give us the best chance of getting the right position

If they employed someone like Warnock i wouldn't be happy at all, he would get my backing n support of course but i wouldnt be happy

The length of time it’s taking for one, if we believe Still accepted then was approached again so we still didn’t pull it off. It’s pretty obvious tbh. I’m not bothered in some ways because we may get my first choice but they haven’t got theirs so they need to ask themselves why.

Jansen I agree, would've been good.
Still I think would've been okay but not exactly a stylistic fit.
    Cifuentes yes.
Knutsen has had so many opportunities to leave Bodo, many higher than us and he hasn't left.
Roy is in the champions league and isn't a stylistic fit.
Rohl yes but not worth that compensation at all.
Maric yes but he's been offered assistant at Bayern, plays his cards right and he could get the main job there soon like Flick did.
    Svensson got a Bundesliga job.
Dionisi got a City group job.
Cooper is going to get a PL job.

Rosenior and Jansen are very similar, both have similar styles and both have similar criticisms. Why is Jansen better than Rosenior?

Also, since when has possession football been the 'same old English style of football'? When you think of stereotypical English football it's blood and thunder, solid defensive work and quick forward balls.

Not aimed at you mate, some others are far too red and white tinted glasses! As always though whoever it is will get our backing whether we’re happy or not. I’ve had my hungover rant now I’m off for a Sunday lunch and a pint to cure my sore head:emoticon-0102-bigsm

Whoever it is, they'll get absolutely hammered if it's a poor start or a run of defeats, it's the nature of the beast in modern football. It makes it all more laughable when you see cat fights and meltdowns on social media....and that's just people talking about who it's going to be without any games played, if it was Still for example, he'd be getting dogs abuse after a run of successive defeats.

Do you think Rosenior is more likely to accept the job under the terms that have been a turn off for the others?

Just something on Rosenior, he commuted to Hull from Derby and apparently turned down the Plymouth job because he didn't want to relocate there. So he may not come here.

He's not someone who will jump at any chance and put himself in a bad situation, he's happy to wait for a role that suits him. So he wouldn't be this Speakman lackey who accepts Dodds and Proctor I don't think.

Weirdly feel relaxed over this now. Think the club have stripped any hope and excitement out of me and all that’s left is just a shell. What will be will be. Just got to get behind and support whoever it is.

Unless it’s Robinson or Challinor, they can **** off.

If Rosenior doesn’t happen for whatever reason, I can see Dodds getting the nod
