I've posted a blog with post-match thoughts. As I say in it, I did it mainly because the media totally blanked Villa's rough-housing, which I'm still infuriated by, and I hope Graham, Dyer, Taylor and anyone else kicked about the place will be ok.

Fair comments, particularly in the way Villa's defenders were allowed to kick their way out of trouble by a referee who seemed all too keen to ignore their foul play. And foul play it was; another official might well have reduced them to 9 men. They deserved it.

Would it be fair to say that Rangel's injury was a direct result of over-watering the pitch before the game? (And the sprinklers were on at half-time as well!). Players were slipping all over the place.
