My part? It wasn't me who said it.

An argument with you over semantics or football wouldn't be very good as you aren't very knowledgeable about either.

You post guesswork as fact constantly but because it has your relentless positive spin it's ok, as soon as someone doesn't toe the line it gets shot down.

I agree baseless points aren't worth a place on the board, hence why when people talk about stupid stuff like 'ambition' or suggest we don't spend money when we clearly do and the facts are there to see I will happily shoot them down, but when people are being shot down over suggesting we should've had a coach in by now or that the structure of the club isn't what it should be or that things aren't as rosey as some would make out, all of which can and have been backed up by fact, it just creates an atmosphere where people don't want to post.

Funny you think I want to argue when it's all you do on here. Going through peoples old posts looking to catch them out.

Middle ground is allowed, things aren't as good as some say and aren't as bad as others say. You don't have to try to argue with everyone who might suggest things aren't great.

Would be a massive shock to me that one mate. You have to interview in person at least once for a role like this I think.

Zoom would be stranger for a candidate than the club, I think and am therefore stating as fact ;)

As a prospective manager you'd want a look around and get a feeling for the place.

There is definietely gaps in the continuity and that wraps around playing style, in my opinion anyway. The first appointment was Johnson who was regarded as an attacking front foot coach. Then we jumped to Neil who is considered much more pragmatic. To Mowbray who again wants to play attractive expansive football. Those three each, in their own way, moved us forward a large step. Then we land on Beale, again very different. Then we appear focussed on Still.

None of it seems to make sense in terms of how we have built the squad. I still maintain we have built a 433 squad, with lots of technical ability. They will shine under a high possession style. But we go for Still who is not that sort of coach, at least on evidence so far. It does seem like the club do loads of things right and well, but have yet to link them together at first team level to make everything work in tandem.

With Jansen or Rosenior I think we'll get it right. I'm very excited about the prospect of both.

I think it was you who suggested we always seem to need to fail with our first choice coach to then land the better coach, Keane when we appointed Neil and Still now:emoticon-0140-rofl:

A HectoPASCAL is a measurement of atmospheric pressure. Pressure, weather, wind, breeze.

    It's all coming together.

Common practice to interview first on zoom and then decide if it’s worth bringing to site for further talks. Gives us and candidate a chance to both understand what the others about before taking to next stage. Simply good practice especially when you’re potentially flying someone in from say Saudi or South America.

Jansen and Rosenior excite me. Prefer Jansen as I think he might just be the guy to get the likes of Rigg at the top of their game. Also hope he can get under the skin of some of our individuals and get them flying again.

We do seem to faff about with coaches. I dont want to live through another episode anytime soon. Hope the new guy is here 3 year and stamps a playing style all over the club. A leverkusen style would be grand

Aye, 100%. Could do 1st round on it to make sure it is worth the trip. But as a coach you need to see the academy and training setup, then quiz the DoF and possibly existing coaching staff. I do think a head coach often chooses the club as much as the club chooses them, at the higher end anyway.
