Have we had any worthwhile policy announcements by anyone yet? Preferably with realistic delivery plans associated with them? I am getting bored with the (un)popularity contest tbh.

    Not really, no.

The manifestos are like turds they're desperately trying not to drop.

Not staying for D-Day is so stupid I think it's intentional.

Either that or someone on his team has thought 'what's D-Day?' and they ended up here.

Even Biden turned up and he might have been dead for two years.

The fact that Dodgy Dave was there with him suggests there was either some intent to make him look stupid or Sunak just ignored the advice. Either way an idiot could see there would be fallout.

I’d have thought Cameron would have said “look, if you leave this will look proper **** to the public”. Or does he have some ulterior motive?

Didn't want to post this on the D-Day thread.

Joking aside he nails the reasons why the country is in such a mess. Strangely enough all of those reasons caused by the party who has been in government for the last 14 years. Who knew <whistle>

Whenever they can't blame anyone but themselves they'll do a Father Jack and say ...

... 'That's a global issue, Bolivia is having exactly the same problem so nothing to do with the Tory government'.

If that fails it's either Covid, Corbyn or Vladimir Fkn Putin to blame <doh>

Snap election in France as well, after support for right wing parties surges in the European elections.

I suspect there's an idea, with some people, that, because the Tory MP's are so wealthy ...

... if they vote them into power that wealth will rub off on them.

It reminds me of Seinfeld nailing how gullible some people are <laugh>

    Jerry Seinfeld:
A man is paralyzed mentally by a beautiful woman, and advertisers really take advantage of this. Don't you love those ads where you see, like, the woman in the bikini next to the 32-piece ratchet set? You know, we'll be looking at the girl in the bikini, looking at the ratchet set, going, "All right, Well, if she's right next to the ratchet set, and I had that ratchet set, I wonder if that would mean that ...

... I'd better just buy that ratchet set."

Lib Dem manifesto has some likeable things in it. Whether it is affordable is my doubt. In their case we will never have to find out, sadly. At least they are offering to try and undo some of the harm Brexit has done and continues to do :emoticon-0105-wink:

Was thinking of voting Lib Dem, but they still want to return so I will give them a miss. Liked their other policies though.

I appreciate Ed Davey has some link with the Post Office scandal but I thought he came across very well in that recent video to be honest
