I know nowt at this point like. But it’s an interesting one because Nixon will have seen the statement KLD made. Wouldn’t surprise me if there’s something in it
It's often said on here that the club doesn't deserve our wonderful fans. Adversely, I read some of the crap that some people come out with on here and say the club don't deserve these fans either, if you know what I mean.
Honestly think we’ve dodged a bullet with Still. Always had a bad feeling with him and with every instagram story post I feel even more sure.
Will be Jansen or Rosenior. Nixon just wants clicks. The bloke said it was a final 3 yesterday. 2 of them got ruled out by better sources and then he proceeds to add two more new names (Rosenior and Cifunetes) hahah
You throw enough balls at enough coconuts you win a goldfish....or in his case you get to tweet "aye" when 1 of your 780 tweets turns out accurate
Yeah I suppose, he's either in the frame or searching for clicks. I've not been too fussed all the way through, as long as they get the right man. We'll find out soon enough. With that statement, I think, it makes Rosenior less likely. Be happy with any of the 3 that are supposedly left, but the backlash if it's Rosenior isn't worth the hassle.
As much as I’d like him here I think you are right. I believe he has 1 year left of his contract and they are looking to extend so it’s an easy way of increasing his bargaining power with QPR.
I’m a bit surprised how many people have their head up their arse about Still mind. We’re a championship club and he’d be dropping down the leagues to manage us, not sure why people think he should’ve walked here dragging his bollocks over broken glass to join us. Good managers don’t just jump at the first sniff of an offer, they negotiate to make sure the position is right and the people they’re going to be working for aren’t bluffers.
I'm happy to just wait and see who it is, sense of urgency been sucked out of me now. Hope it's good news but already mentally prepped for bitter disappointment, such has been the way in recent appointments. At least it's created umpteen meltdowns over da road, thus creating mild amusement throughout.
Mind, I maintain Sunderland are a better option for Will Still than Lens. If they're willing to pay him substantially more, fair enough, but getting us up, playoffs even, would set him up for a major job. Mid table or scraping a minor European place with Lens is just treading water. He'll be in the same pool in a year or two. Also, no one really cares about french football. Not even the french, apparently. If he goes there it's either for money or just because he feels its the safer bet, at this time.
