Some of these comments over the last few days are class. I'm still laughing about being called one of the most negative posters on this board
If he can produce a win rate here like he has at AZ he will have a statue outside the stadium in no time.

There's meant to be one with Speakman and the new head coach as Speakman missed the last meeting. Date hasn't been confirmed yet
So everyone on here thinks it's Jansen 100% and not Rosenior? I've probably missed something like so apologies if I have.
By Alan Nixon QPR’s Spanish coach Marti Cifuentes is the shock new name on Sunderland’s radar in a dramatic late development. Cifuentes made a huge impact at Rangers after his arrival and he also impressed the Black Cats hierarchy. The Catalan would need to be tempted to move and Sunderland also have to come up with compensation. But he is now a live contender. Cifuentes turned QPR into a strong unit who worked hard and played attacking football as he paid off after being a surprise appointment when he came to London. Sunderland hoped to land exiled wanted man Will Still and Bo Svensson but missed out on the Dane who went to Union Berlin. Dutchman Pascal Jansen is on their short list while in-work duo Stephen Robinson and Dave Challinor are also contenders. Liam Rosenior is also a possible for the post after initially holding off when he was contacted a month ago. He has also had talks. But Cifuentes may yet pip them all at the post - with the price of the compensation the biggest snag.
