I'd agree. You only release stuff like that when you have a signature on a contract. I'll wager the new man has signed on and the announcement will depend on logistics (hopefully flying in from Holland this weekend and not driving up from Hull)
I'd say less than a week from now if he's said it's imminent. He doesn't throw words around carelessly and if it was going to take a while he'd have worded it differently.
If I were KLD I'd hold off for a couple of days to see just how wound up the whoppers might get. In fact I'd start dropping some Parkinson or Leam Richardson stories into the media to see if I could actually get someone's head to explode
Not really, I'm just not misreading his words. If it actually was imminent we'd have the club account tweeting little Dutch flags and a pen and paper emoji.
Or we were close so they didn’t feel the need for a holding statement but were dropped in it when the candidate had his head turned and have had to reassess.
