It's the second centre back that has no real good answers. Southgate's last role of the dice? You feel this could be Foden's time to shine.
I remember watching Palace earlier this season and saying Saints were nowhere near them and someone called Tom saying they aren’t that good really…
That and left back are the reasons I think we won't win the Euros. Without Shaw our options are genuinely terrible. Even if he does come back he hasn't played in 8 months so will probably be rusty and unable to play a group game, Rnd 16, QF, SF, F in the space of 3 weeks.

Heard today from a friend (a Villa fan) who knows a football journalist, is that Southgate has had enough of Grealish’s drinking and party ways. Apparently likes a drink even when in the England camp and at the last tournament he was sneaking around seeing a certain female presenter and they weren’t Talking Sport.
Tonight's lineup for the game against Iceland is interesting. I assume it gives us a fairly solid idea of who starts the first group game... England: Ramsdale; Walker, Stones, Guehi, Trippier; Rice, Mainoo; Palmer, Foden, Gordon; Kane Possible/likely changes for the actual tournament... Pickford for Ramsdale Bellingham and Saka for two of Mainoo/Palmer/Gordon
Saka for Palmer. Interesting on the other one as Bellingham playing would mean shifting Foden left which isn’t the idea use of him. But I don’t see a midfield three of Rice, Bellingham and Foden under Southgate - except maybe with a back three/five
Yeah trying to be too 'cold' or whatever. But at least he's putting himself about. Better than invisible Foden.
Trippier at left back kills us. He isnt exactly attacking when he plays right back but at left back he literally offers nothing. We are forced so narrow it makes us piss easy to defend against.
