I love JWP (and will give him a round of applause when he is at SMS next) but £100k+ a week contract, turns 30 next season... time to move on.

 

I’ll have a word with him. Reckon we can get him down to 80k on the promise that we will win 10 free kicks 24yds out.

I honestly have a feeling that he will play for what feels like the best rather than the best offer. Always felt like football was more important to him than money and hey. He’s got another 7 years ahead of him apparently #lallanagate
