Good point mate, I've never thought of it that way. Although they could be doing the same with the other 2 aswell <laugh>

Ronald McDonald gets it I’ll still go mind.

Fits the bill actually, out of work, absolutely nothing to suggest he is capable of doing the job.

May as well make him number 4 on the shortlist.

Depends what you mean by defend the club.

As I've said I don't want Challinor, and I hope its not him.

But if he's appointed I can definitely get behind him.

I won't be demanding anyone gets sacked for appointing him. Nor would I be cancelling my season ticket if I had one!

I want Speakman out. But appointing Challinor wouldn't be the reason.

Robinson on the other hand would depress me massively.

I can defend the actual appointment of Challinor, not the way its came about though. Couldn't defend Robinson at all.

Not a daft idea mate. Wasn’t necessary though as soon as we as fans looked into Jansen it made immediate sense.

He is the one I want now, over Still, unless by some miracle Copper fancies it (he doesn’t…)

Rightly so. You can't be giving the big un that we've got a world leading database on managers and that we're pushing for the Premier League, and then hiring no mark managers who have never managed above League 2.

You can't really believe all that data drivel after the showing of the last few months can you?
They are chancers with little clue what they are doing.

Sorry, when you said you missed most games under Parkinson I thought you meant because of the (lack of) quality and entertainment of the football served up, not because of the level he'd previously managed at.

No I don't believe it, we used to put an emphasis on data the Mowbray appointment is a significant example of it, but pretty much ever since James Young left the club we've stopped putting it at the forefront of decisions even though it was serving us very well. Players like Clarke were data signings.

Atleast they’re not free…. Best I can do, I’ll get behind whoever but it wouldn’t have me buzzing going into the summer I’ll be honest, no matter how much hummel gear they release, made a twat of myself when we appointed he who shall not be named so I won’t be going down that road again though I’ll just see how it plays out

Incredible job at St Pauli. Think they were like 7 or 8 points from safety going down the 3rd and they just started winning and never stopped for a season and a half.

    Incredible.

A combination of things really. Some games I couldn’t attend through working away but when I was back home, it was a real struggle to get motivated to go. Parkinson should’ve been nowhere near this football club.

I believe the club has much better access to data than it used to.

The important thing with data tho is its useless unless you know how to use it and can execute on it. We don't seem to.

Challinor's ready to take a step up based on his record mind.

The question is whether we represent two or three steps up or not.

:emoticon-0159-musicSo here's to you, Stephen Robinson, Jesus wept our shortlist really blows, woah woah woah....

He's about to anyway, he's about to manage in League One which he's never done.

We don't need to be the ones to give him the step up.
