Sunderland have new final three for boss job Sunderland are down to a final three for their manager's vacancy after a chase that has turned into a saga. The Black Cats have moved on from missing out on Bo Svensson and the on-off interest in Will Still who came close to joining. Now there are three candidates who include Dutchman Pascal Jansen, a free agent since leaving AZ Alkmaar. Stockport's successful Dave Challinor has jumped into the frame after two promotions pushed him into the limelight. And St.Mirren's Irish manager Stephen Robinson is also being pushed within the Sunderland ranks. He would be keen and Saints would only ask for £250,000 https://www.patreon.com/login?ru=/posts/sunderland-have-105693021?immediate_pledge_flow=true
Aye but I remember it being a bit worse than that mate. It was pretty hostile. The chanting might have been the last 10 mins but the atmosphere was building towards that through out the game iirc.
Jensen Challinor Robinson 100 odd days to shortlist them. If it's not Pascal. Holy christ I fear for our fans sanity
Would be delighted with Jansen. Fine with and optimistic about Challinor. Disappointed and unhappy with Robinson.
If that’s true it most certainly isn’t succession planning. If it’s true I’d be pissed right off with Robinson, I could understand Challinor may be after AN went but not now 3 months plus of searching.
Delighted with Janson A bit unhappy with Challinor, but would definelty get my backing Hugely disappointed and angry if it’s Robinson.
Interesting that Pascal Jansen's background is similar to that of Dodd's & Speakman (Academy Mgr) albeit at more prestigious clubs and with more success
I wouldnt say i would be delighted nor disappointed with either but please please everyone give whoever it maybe a chance.
That is simply not a shortlist. It's the ramblings of a moron. It's like me putting chips, blue, and Tuesday and a three item shortlist on what car I'm going to buy next. He's full of **** that we and the ready to go lot have filled him with.
