If that is the same thing I saw on Facebook it had a link to an article from 2022.

I see Sessegnon has been released by Spurs. I would quite like Saints to take a punt on him.

His injury history is brutal. It's so difficult for players to come back from multiple major hamstring injuries, particularly when you're reliant on pace. I really liked Sessegnon at Fulham, so it's really sad but he's probably one more bad muscle injury from the end of his career, and he's only 24.

If he could stay fit, he's be an excellent signing - especially as a left wing back in a 3-5-2 type system.

But he seemingly can't stay fit, poor guy.

You have to think Delap and Diaz are old rumours being resurfaced.

O'hare would be fantastic. Seen him play a few times and he is capable of making the step up. I imagine it looks unlikely due to interest from more established PL sides.

I think we have enough Citeh youth rejects, and Wilcox has fled the nest now.

Was asking someone I work with who is a Cov fan and he said O’Hare is good but doubts he could make the step up to the PL. Said PL teams should be looking at Sheaf, Sakamoto or Van Ewijk for Cov’s best players

Not against O’Hare as I don’t know much about him and on a free could be a good option.

Don’t like that tweet about strikers at all, makes it sound like if Adams resigns we won’t be after anyone else

Delap needs another year or two in the Championship, but definitely could be a decent Prem striker some day.

Brereton Diaz got 6 goals in 16 games since arriving in January for a woeful Sheffield United side. That's not bad.

If I recall, didn't he play on the opposite wing to Adam Armstrong while they were both at Blackburn before taking on the goal-scoring mantel after Adarma joined us?

In a strange way Forest's financial issues may mean they are willing to offer bigger wages.

Saints & Wolves have money to spend elsewhere and won't pay Che more than what we think are fair wages. Forest however probably can't sign a striker of Che's level unless it is a free.

I thought Forest had to sell to balance the books to hit FFP rules? Seems odd to be thinking about buying a player when they dont know how much money they'll have. Can't know that till they've made their sales

Edit. Che is free, but his wage demands won't be

I won't be massively gutted if Che goes, as it'll mean we need to buy a striker. If he resigned with us, I'd fear us trying to do this with him, Ross and Adam. That wouldn't work....

Strangely, even though in the prem Che has been a better striker than AArma, I think this year Aarma will be a better striker. He is liked by us and the manager and his confidence is high. Che misses too many for me.

They reckon they’re selling Murillo for massive money (50m+) so they think they’ll be fine for FFP
