https://safc.com/news/team-news/2024/may/slate-of-pre-season-fixtures-confirmed This says late June, my guess would be the 24th based on that.
I thought this the other day. If all that is being said in the media has a % of truth to it he sounds like the type who will be always looking for a move.
I'm speculating they have moved on looking at other candidates but even if the Still deal was alive they would be negligent not to be looking anyway. So your right lets just see what happens. With the transfer window and players starting to come back from hols. It cant go on much longer.
Could be waiting until August then. No one wants the rights. I believe they are thinking of doing there own broadcasts
That's madness that mind, a football league in a country like France not being able to secure a domestic broadcast deal. Their original asking price of €1billion probably didn't help.
The Still situation reminds me of the Grigg saga. Doesn't really want to come, but will use us as a stepping stone if the money is right.
Agreed, get ourselves into another agreement elsewhere and give him last shout, before there is only **** left.
They barely got one last year, it is a god awful league to watch. They’ve since lost the shining light in Mbappe to La Liga (who also struggle to shift their rights). The deal will be low to nothing. Canal Plus didn’t even want the deal, they didn’t think anyone in France wanted to watch the French league. PL, Serie A and Bundesliga are the only 3 that travel.
Realistically you need someone by Friday if the team are back by the 24th. You’d think need time to come in and assess, watch videos, discuss with coaches and youth coaches who is ready who needs moving on, discuss potential signings and outgoings etc etc. Anything later just looks Micky Mouse.
Claim????? WTAF? there was more than one, and I was one of them, why would I give a **** who is manager of Rangers? I still dont know who their manager is now
Sunderland were a stepping stone for Will Grigg??? Yeah, into oblivion. Not too dissimilar to many a manager thinking about it!
