No doubt about it. We don’t want any more kids from abroad who’ve hardly kicked a ball. Someone competent to lead the line. Simple as really, it’s gone on too long.

I trust Magnus and Wheatsheaf considering they both got everything right regarding Still even when local press were reporting that we weren't even talking to him <laugh>

I'll be fuming if Jobe is our first choice no.9.

If we only lose a couple of players this summer, we could literally only sign a striker and no further additions would be needed considering the returning loanees.

Be prepared for another mid table finish then if that’s the case.

Well I suggested as much last week that players will be thinking of their future the more this head coach search drags on and I got told I’m full of **** so it works both ways I guess.

I'm excited to see what the new coach can do, plus we're jam packed with young lads who are improving, I think if the goal is a top-6 finish, we're not out of contention under the conditions I've set out.

Absolutely. Suppose my point is that if that right person is only being identified and recruited now, what have we been doing for all this time. If the club don't know who that right person is or can't attract that right person they never will. There's no excuses in terms of leagues still ongoing or June 1st contract stipulations anymore.

As I've said, a few days is fine as long as it's done this week. Anything afterwards and it's starting to affect next season.

Yeah I don't particularly read much into the report that Rigg is waiting to see who the head coach is because what if he doesn't like that coach, leaves but that coach turns out to be great for us. And vice versa.

I think it's more of a he won't commit until one is in place and he gets play time assurances.

I wouldn’t be excited with the current squad personally, feel the new coach needs backing properly, starting with a proper centre forward (unlike last summer).

Players aren't involved. They have a contract or they haven't. They'd be thinking of their future if we'd appointed a new coach a month ago just as much.

Not involved in the head coach search but are most certainly involved in deciding whether they want to stay or not. Naive to think otherwise.

You might be right mate....I'm not sure Riggy is too hung up on who's going to be the coach at this stage. He'll be much more interested in it when we get into next season and he sees how his career is progressing.

We need at least 2 in truth, and coach Jobe on his runs and movements.

Sell him the ‘you and your brother 9 & 10 for England’ route

We can absolutely conduct business without a head coach, we have done in recent years including the signing of Amad.

But if I was an agent or a DoF at another club we were trying to loan a player from I would be telling my player to be hesitant.

The club have had several months so you’d like to think there’s a plan B that’s quickly closed if it isn’t Still.
