Not seen it posted. RIP. horrible disease https://www.skysports.com/rugby-lea...41-after-suffering-from-motor-neurone-disease
Just seen it on BBC news page. RIP Rob, my condolences to his family and friends It always seems much worse when an illness such as this hits young sportsmen and leaves them unable to function
Seen it a bit earlier on. RIP fella. Seemed to be an absolute diamond of a lad. And fair play to his mates who raised the awareness and cash for the charity. The mate who ran the marathons should be knighted.
RIP Rob. Watched a fair bit of Rugby League on the TV and he was a top player - never took a backward step even though he was about a foot smaller than other players.
Rugby was my first sport as a teen, followed a lot of league and supported the bulls. Think I have up on it when that Leeds team emerged with him at its heart. It was just utterly dominant and he was beyond talented. Such sad news.
RIP Rob Burrow. As said by others it's an awful disease and to see him go from what he was to how he ended up was tragic.
Was never a great follower of rugby league and being over here knew very little about the guy. However, after seeing the tragic images of what the disease did to his body he must have been an amazing guy surrounded by amazing people to handle it the way he did. Getting carried in a race by a team mate for charity speaks volumes. Rest in peace mighty one.....you were a credit to mankind.....god bless....LA
