None of which seems to have changed the public perception, which was my point. I'm not interested in defending Trump but that isn't a particularly strong point anyway. Trump running this year isn't something that appeared out of the blue, it's been an obvious possibility since 2020. That's technically true but not really a complete or accurate summary of what's happened. The special counsel report earlier this year found evidence Biden was guilty of some things but concluded it wasn't worth prosecuting him, at least partly because of his age and forgetfulness. Hunter Biden is due to go on trial later in the year. None of that sounds like a waste of time to me.

Must say the ‘not being allowed to testify’ part did make me laugh. That would have been the decision of his defence team, which they’ll have made, fully in the knowledge that the man can’t help but lie whenever he opens his mouth, so perjury would have come into play. They weren’t (rightly) willing to risk that. His own people. Yet he still might be the president. It’s quite mind blowing.

He is "caught" in transcripts APPLAUDING Biden's memory - it's just more smoke and mirrors - a lame excuse - after ANOTHER failed attempt from the Trumpist vegetable patch. They found nothing, nada. "Hunter Biden is due to go on trial later in the year. None of that sounds like a waste of time to me", they just say this stuff, something happening, impending without any substance. The case is more likely that Hunter Biden will take Fox News to the cleaners.
Usually they are extremely anti-trump. In this case they are also saying that they think the case is politically motivated. Hence it’s worth commenting. When even the insanely left-wing biased CNN can see it. Maybe you should evaluate your thinking too.

No. I wouldn’t. I have repeatedly and consistently said that if Trump has done something truly illegal then I hope he is punished. Same with Biden. He is not fit to be president but I would not want him to be a political prisoner without just cause. I don’t want to see tribal banana republic politics played out in the West. It simply shouldn’t be happening. What has happened is they have targeted him and turned a misdemeanour into a crime. That isn’t justice. It’s corruption. Most of you on this thread hate the wealthy - that’s the real reason that you hate Trump and the Tories so vicariously. The envy/jealousy reveals itself quite a lot. These charges 100% wouldn’t have happened if trump wasn’t running for president.
