Any manager worth employing will come in and say 'Me manager, you coach ... now grab the cones and lets crack on'. Sorted.
I mean it is a big deal and has an impact on a head coach coming in there is no getting away from that
You don't seem able to grasp the fact that just because you say something doesn't make it a fact. You don't have a clue what a manager will want or whether he'd want to work with existing staff or not.
Rosenior’s philosophy and way of playing is practically the same as beale….deep block…sideways passing, slow and boring which is what we have had since Jan Still is more an aggressive press and a high tempo way to play, more similar to how we played under Mowbray
Gooch was derided by swathes of fans who said he was **** and should be moved on. He moved on, the same fans complained about that too.
Maybe rosenior played that way due to the players he had available? There are lots of variables and to an extent past roles cannot really be used as a benchmark to judge a lot of these younger coaches
That's how Rosenior set up at Hull. It doesn't mean he's not capable of setting up differently. The squad we have is arguably more suited to a possession-based style. Still doesn't set up in that kind of way.
Can see Kristjaan singing this in the shower Haven’t had a dream in a long time See, the life I’ve had can make a good man bad So, for once in my life, let me get what I want Lord knows it would be the first time Lord knows it would be the first time
That’s a poor comparison if you don’t mind me saying, I very much doubt any of those coaches would have been in charge of such a disastrous run that Dodds had. And I would suggest that also affected him mentally.
I don’t think either are true. Rosenior has his team adjusting within games, Still’s has been defensive since Jan.‘I think you are losing the plot making things up. Did you have a few last night ?
Of course it has. Other clubs have members of their coaching teams who were there before the current manager was appointed. If Dodds and Proctor stay, we'll have members of the coaching team who were here before the current (prospective) manager was appointed.
Rosenior had no choice but to focus on the defensive side, when he took over Hull were the worst defence in the league. He made them the fourth best only behind the 3 teams that were promoted. That suggests he is tactically switched on which I like. He also prefers his teams to play out from the back and starts with a lone striker, just like we have. I can see him being in with a very good chance and I don’t mind that.
People seem to be saying we need to get rid of Dodds and Proctor and 'go in a different direction'. WTF does that actually mean. The direction is set out by the owner, who's pumping in his own money, and the board ... ... do people really believe the clubs coaches read the memo, snigger to each other and do wtf they like. They're coaches ffs, the owner wants the PL and would crush those two like bugs if he thought they were restricting our chances imo.
