Post here the the things that let you chill out and make you happy..,whilst all around mayhem ensues… I’ll start - lying in the long grass listening to the skylark on the wing as Summer begins
Grab them while you can mate. After 5 years old they develop an attitude and become a complete pain in the arse at times
Enjoy that mate. I am seething as I know it should have been sorted but aye. It's not important in the grand scheme of things.
Totally mate We spent 5 weeks in hospital with her when she was born n still have regular appointments due to underlying conditions but she just makes everything better
Been there and done that. My 2 year old, chicken pox today. Going to see Liam Gallagher tomorrow, so she picks her moments.
Haha cheers mate, i can tell she will be a sassy one for sure - love it now but will be moaning about it in a few yrs
Oh aye. I booked it last year. Didn't realise the CL final was on and the best boxing card in 10 year too. Unreal.
It'll only be pretendy moaning! I speak from experience - love spending time with the grandson, no matter how small it is
Has there ever been a better timed thread then this Catch up with the lads tomorrow, few beers and some darts. Looking forward to it.
There's been times in my life when I've ran round like a complete idiot, banged the overtime in and been absolutely knackered come the end of the month, only to do it all again. Now I'm older, I've found that there's nothing better than to take time out from things and look after yourself and do what makes you happy rather than others. Spending time with family, listening to your favourite music or just watching old crap TV from your youth can have some kind of benefit.
I've knocked back 4 oversized bottles of strong lager. Actually 5. And I'm now off to my local shop, jumbled up initials, poco just to not add any positive advertising for them.
Heading out on my bicycle tomorrow. Nothing like the fear of being crushed by tractors to clear the head
Fire knackers has ultimately done me a favour, freeing up time to get a novelty haircut for a family wedding - my eight year old dared me and seeing her happy is worth more than the ridiculous amount I'm paying for hotels etc. Needless to say it won't be dyed orange
