Speculation again, we have no idea who the manager is going to be or if these issues are actually issues
this is the question for me. I’d love to know whether KLD is happy with Speakman or whether he’s as angry about this as me.
One good reason, they were asked to step in until the end of the season, which is what they did, they didn’t ask to step up. They were doing a great job where they were. If you can’t see that I may as well be talking to a turnip.
I don't get how KLD wants Still, but then allows Speakman to negotiate and impose his demands onto Still. Half arsed.
Thats the really worrying bit. Anyone coming in will know they weren't first choice so will need to try and win over the fans...but we will also all just think the bloke in charge is another yes man. What a mess.
I dunno what else to say, if you don’t believe it fair play but to me it points to a total **** show behind the scenes like it has been since December.
Calling it now, Liam Rosenior will be the new head coach, with Dodds as assistant and Proctor in the coaching set up.
Actual proper reputable journalists are saying they are the issues. We are never going to hear from Still or the club about why he didn't come here and I think you know that. The best we are going to get is journalists saying so.
Honestly don't get the hype over Still, if it's him then I will back him, but certainly won't lose any sleep over it if it's not him
I don’t think anybody is actually concerned that it’s not still. The concern is the reasons the national press are giving for why it isn’t him.
@mwalker2771 Will Still & Sunderland: appears over, barring late u-turn. Staff/investment concerns for Still. Means S’land enter June without manager since Feb 19. No way to run a club who’ve sold 31,000 2024-25 season tickets - an almost surreal number. Serious questions re succession plan
