It did, but it wasn't applauded the way it will be if it happens with Labour.

Have we stopped the boats yet, Sunak did promise ...

... summer's here so it might be tricky unless those planes take off and stop people getting in dinghys.

They did that fantastic deal mate, don't forget, we pay the French loads of money to stop the boats leaving France.
    Doesn't look like it's working.
So tell you what instead when they get he we'll stick them on a plane to Rwanda.
    That went well.
I'd love to know how much they have spent and if its actually made any difference to the amount that have arrived.
I've got a funny feeling the numbers would be very similar even if they'd done nothing

Since Boris Johnson took us out of Europe we've had more PMs than people sent to Rwanda ...

... in fact, during that time, we've been taking in refugees from Rwanda but they haven't had to pay us.

It's so pathetic you really couldn't make it up.

It's almost as if the Tories knew the Rwanda thing would never work and all it was about was getting sensational headlines in the Daily Heil and Torygraph, whilst also providing a distraction from the fact that they had a cull of civil servants to process immigrant cases :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Sunak now paying 30 Conservative towns, £20m each, to vote Conservative.

It's a twist on the Conservative levelling up promise ...

... Conservative towns not as well off as other Conservative towns will be levelled up.

I wonder where the 40 new hospitals will be built <doh>

Thing is there's something like ten to twenty times as much immigration legally from outside Europe than we get from small boats. I won't offer any judgement here on the merits of that, (and it is nuanced and does depend on who you are, where you live and how much you earn in my opinion,) but the boats thing is almost a distraction if you look at the maths.
Reduced immigration would likely increase wages in Sunderland massively but illegal immigration is not the issue. Lots of half truths that are politically expedient in my opinion. Don't fear the bogey man, look at the facts. . .

    Maybe not.

I get the feeling that she doesn't want to do the job any more, but doesn't want to be seen as jacking it in, so she's going to pick and pick at Starmer until he chucks her out and then it's his fault.

For some time they have been shamelessly redirecting initiatives into marginal seats, trouble is all their seats are now marginal because they have been so dire.

I hope Labour go down the route of raising the rates of income tax for high earners and dividend dodgers. They keep saying no but there are people need a lift. I know you’ll support that.

It depends how they do it. There's a lot of generational wealth there to be taxed, especially in cases where the heirs are doing nothing to contribute to society.

Extra tax if you're on Made In Chelsea. Workers get to keep more of what they earn, because they work for it. Remove the jealousy from the calculations.

Three Green party candidates have withdrawn from the election in a racism row.
Presumably some sort of colour prejudice. :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Yep. They say they don’t believe in the redistribution of wealth but they did that alright. From the lower and middle classes to the rich, yet people in those parts of society vote for them. Take money from Liverpool one and give it to Chepstow. It beggars belief.

    Aye, whatever.

Call a committee meeting, update your conspiracy board and let me know what the latest thing that everybody else does conclusively proves it :emoticon-0138-think

You’ve always intimated we should tax the wealthy but not me cos I made it myself and also implied it’s down to jealously not fairness. No doubt whatsoever now. So how we do we pay for services like health if corporate income and personal high levels of wealth associated with it don’t contribute. They reckon 80% of people accessing health appear because social needs have not been met, it’s not immigration blocking up services, it’s wealth inequality and a lack of support services. Pay your bills to help the nurses Exile
