The only thing I remember about Lyon was that ****ing tunnel as I blasted through it on the autoroute!
Before 11am is safe as houses mate. Hope there is some drama....rather than the inertia we've witnessed in recent days, which is driving most of us insane!
Yeah deffo, I mean people are quick (including me) to blame the club after everything that’s happened, but if it was sorted on Monday but no contract signed, then lens come swapping in, it just all adds up to me, I think Mr Still had eyes set on staying in France and used us to Lens would act quickly
If it doesn’t happen then I think people will rightly complain, purely based on how long we’ve had to get it done.
It's mental going through there at times. I was once driving a VW Beach Buggy down to Nice for a mate and it rained all the way from Nottingham ... ... I was flying through the tunnel, as it was dry, but actually started aquaplaning as I left it and hit that sharp right hand bend I braked but nothing happened. I waited for the impact but by some miracle I slowed enough, dropped through the water and gained enough traction to make the bend. I stopped at the next services to change my underpants
The poshest folk I know fly there that’s maybe why. Snowboarders. My point was it’s holiday season and we’re thinking a flight from south east France is connected to a coach from Belgium.
Thought D Day was Sunday evening when all the keyboard warriors are tucked up in bed ready for School on Monday, been unreal the traffic and lots of BS on here this week as it’s been half term
Not really imo. It's big on gastronomy, or grub as we call it and has a few interesting buildings, etc ... ... but it's hot, busy and nowhere near the sea or swimmable water.
Didn't he just swap his French/Belgian agency for an English one? End of the season he gave a few interviews saying he wanted a job in England, eventually
