Got to be honest mate, I always wonder why anyone bothers posting info.

Get stick for it when ya post and if anything changes last minute which can obviously happen then ya might aswell change ya name and emigrate to the arctic!

Doesn't matter, mate. You've set the template for all ITK now. Be as sure of your info as possible and then commit 100%, balls to the wall. Proper gutsy. I've enjoyed the process of hoping you're right as much as I think I might enjoy an actual announcement. If it goes south it's 'Still' been mint and I expect the same level of commitment next time you hear out!

Fair play like, even after all that’s come out today from other sources. Hope you’re right.

He alone shouldn't be credited with promotion. He was part of a collective that won promotion and part of a collective that weren't good enough for the league above. He didn't fail because they were in 20th place, the group as a whole weren't good enough. Managers know that they will be the fall guy if their team struggles but this is a short-sighted and naive view. Just because his team weren't doing well, it doesn't automatically make him a bad coach. If the other parts the group aren't up to it, there is only a limited amount he can do.

Appreciate your info. If it doesn't happen then things change, you are literally passing on what you hear and must be hard without dropping your source in.

    Cracking post mate.

I agree, I'd rather have a clear concise post, that turns out to be wrong ...

... than cryptic vagaries and weird hints that turn out to be wrong.

Three cheers for whatever it is I'm trying to say <laugh>

I know but the post I was responding to credited him with one promotion, you then cannot neglect his performance that saw them have the worst start in Premier league history and of course he failed, even he would tell you that man. He failed ****in miserably man.
So by your logic winning promotion once doesn’t make him a good coach then. Again having your cake and eating it
I for one hope it’s not him cos I think he’s a **** coach and one promotion won’t change my opinion on that

Thats not logic though, that's just stating the reverse. Winning promotion doesn't happen by accident. It requires a combination of a good coach and a good team. A team that is not strong enough for their division will always struggle, no matter how good their coach is.

He probably would say he failed, because that's what managers are expected to do and he will probably be critical of his own performance. That doesn't make it true though.

He’s supposed to build the team man, and he just got tonked 5-0 off another **** team in Burnley. They lost 11 of 14 games he was in charge. Again though having your cake and eating it, “a promotion winning team is a combination of a good coach and a good team” yet one that struggles isn’t a combination of both, it’s just the players fault.

Don’t think anyone is expecting you not to post if it doesn’t happen. Nothing is ever straightforward.

    https://www.footballinsider247.com/...ke-contact-over-carlos-corberan-deal-sources/

If this is true and Corberan is genuinely looking to leave West Brom I would love us to try and get him. Obviously Leicester would be his first choice but if they go for someone else he’d be a great choice for us. The football can be a bit attritional at times but he gets the best of the squad and is someone who I think could coach in the Premier League.

I don’t see why he’d leave West Brom to come to us. They love him there and finished significantly higher than us last season. Would make little sense

Mate just do what the wums do, just open an alternative account, and post under that one. Seriously though don’t be so daft, you’ve passed it on in good faith, if it falls through well it falls through, not your fault, and I for one, appreciate the snippets you give.
