Great post mate and I agree with you on Rosenior. If I had to pick from someone who is available that is based in England, he would be my pick of the bunch.

I think you know what you’re asking can’t be answered but it’s not really the gotcha you think it is. The players have signed for us to develop and there’s only so much of that they can do on the training pitch with Dodds and Proctor.

They want to be playing games and winning which as I mentioned in my other post they haven’t been doing on a consistent basis since Mowbray. The longer it takes the more they will question their future at the club. That’s the truth of it.

I've said it before, I think Still has been overhyped for months.

Willy knew he was leaving Reims so put himself in the shop window to get as much attention from clubs as possible.

He's obviously a good motivator which ties in with the impressive start to his career and his attacking approach.

Beyond that, I don't see a lot. He's inexperienced and I wonder how he'll cope when things don't go his way.

Heck is a decent manager/head coach and would be infinitely better than the situation at present.

I keep seeing certain people claiming Sunderland are a laughing stock.

Can they tell me if they think Stoke are a laughing stock for wasting millions on Alex Neil then sacking him.

Are Birmingham a laughing stock for being 6th, sacking their manager and being relegated by that manager.

Are Leeds a laughing stock for wasting millions, failing to go up and being in a huge financial mess.

I could list loads more clubs but I suspect those with blinkers on wouldn't even bother reading.

Sunderland are a Championship club looking for a manager ...

... that's about as funny as it gets tbh.

I know a little bit about his coaching and thinking about the game from his time at Derby, which is on my doorstep. He is really good on training ground and I dare say he is tactically getting better. He was regarded really highly by Derby players, and did some stellar work with younger ones. He will be a very good coach somewhere, I have no doubt.

I wouldnt mind Rosenior at all, really likeable guy and is still learning what type of manager he will be

I didnt enjoy the football hull played last season, very slow n lacked creativity but might tweak it in his next role

I really dont like Heckingbottom as a manager, i mentioned my reason on here so no point going into it again

Be happy with Still, think it might be him still but should know over the weekend if it is

If I may, he wasn't sack just because they were not doing well, he fell out with the owners due to lack of funding, and I mean lack of stuff not paid and it caused embarrassing situations throughout the club.
    Now that's a fact.

But then I could ask the same back to you -

how do you know what the players are thinking?

top and bottom of it we could just agree to say some will be thinking about it some won’t

Can I play the advocate of the Devil? Imagine you're the owner of a football club, the club you own managed to welcome the bitter rivals of the club you own by laying out the red carpet and putting on sandwiches. The club you own finishes 6 points off relegation to league one after a massive drop off because you lost one player to injury half way through the season and 3 different people took the reigns of the first team and that was just one season? You're probably fighting off several attempts for your best players from other clubs in the summer. After several cluster f**ks you NEED to make the right call on whom is going to be your new coach and figure head of your club. It may be Still and we have a cracking season next year or Still is a bit of a knacker and the club can't risk the same problem at Christmas if it all goes the shape of the pare. Perhaps the club are being diligent in appointing their new man. Ofcourse I could be totally wrong and yes it's been 100 plus days, but I'd rather the club get it right in the long run, because make no mistake about it and some mite not like it, but that was relegation form 2nd half of last year. All of the above is Ofcourse in my humble opinion.

Mass hysteria in full swing this evening, whilst the club stays silent.

Looking forward to another Groundhog Day tomorrow

If you take credit for success you take the rap for failure, you can’t have it both ways. Or did they only get promoted cos the players played well and nowt to do with him

It’s also a fact that they were 20th when he was sacked with 5 points from 14 games. It’s also a fact that Wilder got more on the remaining games from the team.
