They’re in a better position for a return to the prem before we are - with parachute payments and willingness to spend a lot. Big club doesn’t matter much nowadays.
we are for sure but we don’t have parachute payments or £10m compensation for Kompany burning a hole in our pockets
I agree, mate. But I also think we're a bigger club than RC Lens too and apparently Big Will would be mad to turn them down so wtf do I know Unashamedly partisan!
Yeah I have noticed that any posters on her who tend to be of the more positive persuasion go fairly quiet and become more patient waiting to find out what is happening. The more negative posters become more vociferous and jump at any chance to have a dig, some are posters you hear very little from unless we hit a bit of a crisis or there is something to complain about.
Whatever the situation with Still, if it's not done then it's time to move on. Either he's not as interested as he should be or we're not prepared to make certain sacrifices. Both things are fine but if we're not a good match, make a decision and move on.
It's a joke when a club as badly run as Sheff Utd are given huge amounts of money for being absolutely shyte ... ... that demonstrates exactly why the game is screwed.
I’d think a bloke that backs his ability would prefer success here rather than there. Just my opinion and maybe it’s outdated but there we have it.
Neither Rosenior or Heckingbottam are tragic managers. They're both Championship calibre managers, one with a promotion under his belt and the other with potential upside after a solid season. The situation is tragic and potentially the way we've handled it, but both of those would be steady appointments who could have a team playing to their capabilities at this level.
I've been at work all day so haven't seen what's been posted, and too tired to look through the thread ... .... so, https://sportwitness.co.uk/sunderland-find-agreement-new-manager-two-year-contract-ready-signed/
a solid season? he failed which is why he was sacked…along with a style of play that is very very similar to Beale Heckingbottom couldnt organise a piss up in a brewery and also failed last season
