Appointing a HC today, 2 weeks ago or in 2 weeks time makes no difference given the fact the players are on holiday for another 5 weeks

Said it before but Ben Knapper will do a superb job at Norwich. Thourp is a risk but has a really attractive style of play and experience with youngsters.

****s sake man haha, amount of twists and turns with this Still to Sunderland stuff. Have the odds actually dropped to 4/1 for Still? Would be pretty sure he's not coming for them to drop like that.

You're right regarding the number of twists and turns. For me its gone on too long to be happening. As I've said a few times now it just doesn't add up for me. Hope I'm wrong.

A lot of people ****ting the bed based on a few twitter whoppers. Someone posting "Will Still Done!" and it's a picture of some random Ginger bloke in a Lens scarf <laugh>

Why would bookies have something odds on 4/9? I believe and then within minutes offer 4/1? You'd think they are confident it's unlikely to happen to shift odds as much as that suddenly.

There is absolutely nothing concrete out there to say he is, or isn't coming here.

Bookies have no insight into managerial appointments. That would constitute fraud. They monitor the markets and adjust the odds based on how the general public are placing their bets. No more than that.

I asked the lad who's been 'updating me' to ask wtf was going on.

He still says the club have an agreement with Still ...

... this is the same person who tipped me off, in advance, about the SOL modernisation and the kit changes.

If this turns out to be totally incorrect I'll stick to the Mr RAWhite thread in future.

It was good fun, for a while, but it's just tedious now.
