Last year we started summer on 29th of May.....let's be little devils and start a day earlier.

Full of expectations for this window....could we attract some interesting players...especially in mid-field and certainly up front.

The big questions are...will Whittaker...Cooper & Hardie still be Argyle players...or will they move on and bring us some serious dosh to buy better players......hold on to your hats.....here we go.

Hi Lindy......been looking through the photos.....couldn't decide which one of you was the world famous footballer.....but I had a shrewd idea that it might not be you.

Been reading about...Benjamin "Benjani" Mwaruwari 45 yr old Zimbabwe international....who has played in Europe and many other places...started at South African club Jomo Cosmos and had a spell at Man City... plus other english clubs.

He is on a "Professional Players to Coach Scheme"....and has been seconded to PAFC for a 23 month period for training at their expense.

Sounds like next week could be busy with news.

    1.....Assistant Manager to be announced.

2.....Pre-season training camp in Spain to be announced.

3.....Pre-season friendly games to be announced.

Also sounds as if Rooney is looking for a flat.....so maybe the family might not becoming down.....you can understand that with kids schooling and friends etc.

Flat? Ex council in “North Prospect” perhaps?

Apartment with sea view and plunge pool more likely.

The reports say “looking for a HOUSE in the Salcombe area”. If true, that makes most of Kent look cheap.

I don’t have an axe to grind for him (yet) and have no idea if that’s true but let’s not misrepresent what’s been said and give the bloke a chance.

I see that Scotland have lost one of their main strikers.....Lyndon Dykes to a training ground injury..

So they're down to only two centre-forwards......no talk of who might replace him.....could this be an opportunity for Ryan Hardie ?

    Pre-Season arrangements.

    Sun July 7th until Tues !6th July.....Spanish pre-season Training.

Sat July 20th away match at Cheltenham Town...3pm kick-off.

Sat July 27th away match at Torquay United...3pm kick-off.

Tues 30th away match to be arranged.

Sat July 3rd away match at MK Dons...3pm kick-off.

No home games and limited opposition.....surely need to stretch the players against better opposition.

Will they be playing a game in Spain ?

There will be new players who have never played at home....who will be playing there for real in the league ?
