Pochettino to Maresca is an insane downgrade.

Chelsea’s new owners are absolutely mad

Based on my record of predicting managerial success they will probably win the league now

That's the thing. Poch has actually laid down a good basis for them - he just had to do the **** season bit first, so whoever comes in is working off the back of a solid baseline that he finally got to. Unless of course they do some new mad **** in the window, which is what I'm hoping for.

They should buy Mara from us for £50m. He is a Premier League Striker now after all.

Since they’re still officially Premier League (for now…)

David Ornstein reporting that Burnley have approached Steve Cooper, but he has turned them down

I am thinking that we might break the PL record for lowest points, but stay up anyway this season thanks to points deductions for everyone around us

I was reading about Leicester & Everton financial situations today and out of interest I checked their forums to see what their fans made of it all... the Everton forum is a brilliant read...

This was a list of their player values if they needed to raise funds... you could half most of those and be closer to their actual values! Especially as they need to raise about £100m by 30th June so buying clubs hold all the power.
    Pickford £30-35M
    Branthwaite £80M
    Doucoure £10M
    DCL £25M
    Onana £50-60M
    Mykolenko - £30-35M
    Tarkowski - £25M
    McNeil - £25-30M
    Dobbin - £8M
    Patterson - £12-20M

But what was even funnier, is that in the list of cheap replacements they had Che Adams for £12-£15m and Armstrong for £8m <laugh> I'm not sure which is worse, not knowing Che is available on a free or thinking we would sell Armstrong for £8m!!

Onana is probably the only one there that will go for closer to the value written there than 50% of those numbers. Maybe Pickford

Some of those numbers are bonkers. Who is paying 25m for Tarkowski? They are probably stuck with DCL unless they get desperate due to his injury history

They're also in cloud cuckoo land if they think their players are going to fetch those fees. Everyone knows Everton are desperate for money. No one is paying 25mill for a striker who's crocked half the time.

Yeah, I'd give them Pickford as he is a good keeper and England no.1 although I'm not sure there are clubs with that sort of cash that would go for Pickford.

£80m for Braithwaite is absurd. One poster referred to him as the best defensive prospect in Europe haha.

Wonder if they'll look at Corberan or Cooper. Or perhaps Potter, I think they've had interest in him before.

Potter is a good shout, didn’t Cooper also turn down Burnley?

Does seem like a very reasonable landing spot for Potter.
