It's absolutely ridiculous isn't it, but I'm guessing it'll be everyone else's fault but hers

I'll see - you never know what happens in the future.

I don't see her peers wildly spending and they're having far fewer nights out than I did during the 1980s and 1990s. Peak alcohol was back in 2004 apparently - regarding average nights out and percentage spend on socialising. They save up for a yearly holiday, but all work part time jobs whilst at university. I'm not sure they're as hedonistic as many make out...

Trinity indoor market £1.60 in a proper mug.

EDIT and no queue, all the people are round the corner queueing up to buy coffee for £3 and up.

I wouldn't actually pay anything for an instant coffee in any sort of cup.

The average price paid for a car for a 17-24 year old is actually £3,562 (2022), there's not many driving £40k cars.

Amazing that some people think because they and their friends and family are doing fine
that there aren't actually a lot of people really struggling just to pay bills and buy food

Depends what mood I'm in, but I'm never in the mood for instant coffee, normally a latte with an extra shot, or an expresso after a meal.

Some lovely generalisations on this thread. Probably why the country is so divided and screwed.
