Does anyone buy their clothes from there. I have done but rarely. FOR GAWD SAKE VINCE, SORT YOURSELF OUT. Look what you're doing to us
I'm the original Man at Marks for most things although Tesco/F & F are good for lightweight t-shirts for holibobs. However little need for suits, shirts and ties anymore as retired. I keep one of each and a nice pair of shoes for "the final journey". I hope that's a long way off and the clothes are all moth eaten by then. Bit like me.
Do like a bit of M&S clothing... tried on a pair of lightweight cargo trousers yesterday funnily enough but wasn't 100% sure I liked them so left them there... Ended up in Fatface, find a shirt I liked (bit of a different style for me) but saw it was £44 so put it back on the peg... next thing I know Mrs Brizzle has picked it back up and gone and paid for it (we have a joint bank account so I guess 'we' paid for it ultimately)... £44!!!! I'd rather stick with my aging short sleeved shirts for our holidays but there we go... she liked it on me so decided it was a yes from her... As you can tell, I am not a fan of buying expensive clothing. My brother in-law and his kids are 'label junkies'.. the majority of their clothing is all Hugo Boss, Ralph Lauren, Versace etc.. I just cringe when I hear of them paying £70 for a polo shirt or similar... yes it's clearly better quality than a £10 Tesco F&F one but it's not that much better than say a £20 M&S one and has probably been made in the same Bangladeshi factory or similar...
Fat Face, always £20 over what they should be, bought a Masky top in one of their regular sales, became baggy after wash.... not good for image. Mrs Masky (M & S) was on staff for many years, gets 20% loyalty discount off everything, and at sale time an extra 10% (28%), much better quality! White Stuff a bit like Fat Face, bought a couple of items! Not for the likes of IB, BFB etc. Masky
Sadly BT, BFB is always going on about your weight gain pal, and it is always upsetting to read! Maybe drink more water and do a bit more walking instead of biking. I suspect the aforementioned BFB is tall and slim and it doesn’t help if he continues to sit by you at matches? No offence intended as everyone knows you are such a nice guy......the type always found in kitchens at parties eh? Masky
I used to get most of my stuff from M&S. Certainly grits and socks. All my work clothes there as well. Had a big clear out of those a few years back when I decided my extended sabbatical was permanent. It got harder as they kept closing the stores meaning I had to go further and further. The one in town closed so the nearest now is in Warrington, 18 miles away. Don't even wear much casual stuff as most of the time I'm in scruffies, at the small holding or fishing. As a result, casual stuff last a while. My scruffies come from Asda. Two pairs of jeans for £16, two T-shirts for £8. Work boots or walking boots from Sports Direct, job done. To be honest, would never do 'labels'. I do spend on fishing gear. Decent fleeces, base layers, soft shell jackets, goretex coats and waders.
