From what I was told earlier, Farke has a meeting with the hierarchy tomorrow, it is thought it is about player sales and what additions we need for next season. So by the sound of that, he is staying. Obviously unless the meeting doesn't go well, so if he's still here on Wednesday, I'd say he'll be here next season.
First job is, sort out a new keeper, always liked Mccarthy at Soton, don't think he'll be number 1 there next season. Get what we can for Meslier, get someone of McCarthy's ilk in. Also liked the look of Cooper at Plymouth, wonder if he maybe available?
I saw one rumour linking us with Potter (wishful thinking) then another saying the 49ers are committed to him, hence the three year deal, they love how he conducts himself in front of the camera and he’s going nowhere
If we were to go for a keeper it would be Viktor Johansson but from what I understand there's a few clubs looking at him.
Yes i agree and earning a fortune for two more seasons without moving house. No wonder he is always smiling.
I think Jammy was banking on the promotion ticket for his speech to work. Going to have to go for the slinking back in when he thinks no one is looking route now I am afraid
Farke is going nowhere. For me, we need to get Ampadu back into midfield. Struijk will be back so we just need a replacement for Rodon in defence. Is Cresswell good enough? So if Ampadu is back in midfield he can be supported by Gruev/Kamara/Archie. Firpo has one year left on his contract, he's good at this level so I hope he stays. We can't rely on Byram at RB, that's a position we need to fill. Summerville and Gnonto will leave, that should bring in 40M. Then we need someone like Chair as a 10 and that Miller guy at Preston looked good, maybe to replace Summerville. Dan James can do a better job than Gnonto. And I'd get rid of Meslier.
Bradley Collins at Coventry for me, best shot stopper in the Championship this season. No idea what the rest of his game is like though No stats available for the Swansea or Bristol City keepers. With punches I presume low numbers means they either catch a lot of crosses or they miss a hell of a lot of punches
