Only we didn't go two years? Between 2016 to now, no top flight club has conceded more pens in Cup comps than Sevco.

It started outside the box and continued inside the box so it was a potential penalty situation. Game stopped and a VAR check should have happened, it didn't.

But the real issue is how the fùck can the ref see a two handed push on Sterling and not blow for a free kick?

Another "inexplicable" decision by a ref in these games against Rangers.

The further you get in competitions, the more games you play, the more donkeys you employ in defence, the more opportunities you have to give away penalties

    Not really comparable

A push started outside the box then continued inside the box...doesn't sound like a push

    Fùck off!

Are really trying to say that a fully trained FIFA ref could miss that foul because of incompetence?

No one can be that incompetent and still be in a job.

No the Johnson one has never been explained.

No explanation on how Willie Collum can see Johnson punch the ball out of the park and then award a goal kick to Celtic. No explanation why the game wasn't stopped AT THE TIME for a VAR intervention when there was such a clear and obvious error by the ref and a possible penalty kick situation.

They did post possible offside pictures a full 25 minutes after the incident but that doesn't explain the above.

    Lets summarise

Walsh denied us 2 penalties and gave you an illegal goal (corrected by VAR)

Walsh denied you a free kick

    You're mental

If a defender starts holding an attacker outside the penalty area and continues holding inside the penalty area, the referee must award a penalty kick. A player is cautioned if guilty of: delaying the restart of play.

Anyone who thinks VAR in Scotland monitor the whole game and can make split second decisions during live game time hasn't been paying attention.

Rangers had to play 10 minutes added time when there were 3 VAR checks in the first 20 minutes in a game a couple of weeks ago ffs.

Every VAR check in Scotland takes at least 2 minutes but the noobs watching the screen can make a decision in live time.

    Preposterous thinking.

I don’t but it doesn’t look good either, what are the odds that the same team keeps getting goals disallowed by VAR for fouls in the build up, and all against the other same team? It would be an anomaly if Rangers kept getting goals disallowed for fouls in the build up even against all different teams, but for it to keep being against Celtic, what are the chances?

You also need to question the nature of the fouls, are they obvious mistakes? Its not as if in any of them that someone has come flying right through a player and wiped him out, these “fouls” are 50/50 calls at best, and every time the coin seems to land in celtics favour.

Also since VAR came in to football, goals being disallowed for fouls in the build up is probably the thing i’ve seen it least used for. Penalties, handballs, offsides etc are all very common checks. Off the top of your head how many goals have Celtic had disallowed for a foul in the build up? Or even how often have you seen it in other games in other countries using VAR? It happens but not nearly as often as it happens in this fixture for some reason.

I don't think its cheating but how do you explain it? Are Rangers just unlucky that they seem to score goals against Celtic when a possible foul has occurred beforehand?

Having reviewed the Sterling "push" giving Walsh the blame for not seeing it is unfair as he is 30 yards away from it

Secondly the "push" is weak and looks like simulation

I actually think Sterling was clipped on his heel outside the box
