What the f uck are you having for Dinner thread..

The breakfast is top notch, I'd like to say that I was healthy and just had that omelette but there's been quite a bit more.

 

Prosecco with breakfast, Mrs luv is on that.

 

We go to a place on Gran Canaria. I have a Bloody Mary on alternative days, it’s Prosecco the other days. Can’t stand the stuff

 

Did you say previously you are in Menorca, all seems very civilised there, well must be otherwise you'd be doing your nut in lol.

Never been there, had the misfortune of going to Majorca once many decades ago.

 

I don't like it, the only alcohol I have in the morning is breakfast stout at Christmas.

 

It's lovely if I go left out of the hotel and full of Scots and Irish if I go right. Left traditional Spanish bars and restaurants right and it's The Irish Rover and **** like that.

 

Ooooh, I like the sound of that. Going to have a Guiness now on Christmas morning.

 

Magical are short ribs... one of my favourite bits of beef.

 

Do they call it ‘huevos rotos’ (broken eggs? This looks like a much fancier version of the stuff we used to get for a few Euros a throw back in the day.

 

Cucumber needs erasing from all humanity - unless it's in a double Hendricks (not Jeff - that would be Munson weird).

 

No carbs before or during Marbs.

 

Been to both... Some nice quieter areas of Majorca to be found, but Menorca was great. Much quieter. Stayed a mile ish from Cuitadella (walkable with a 4 year old) in amongst some nice coastal coves. Was a lovely holiday. Cuitadella itself is a really nice old town.

 

That's the one, every place seems to do it differently but it's always nice.

 

Cuttlefish stew 5 euros. Bargain, very nice.

Chipotle chilli chicken dish i took from BBC. Rehydrated and cooked with Tom paste/garlic for a marinade.
Chicken on bone simmered and then rice added. Looks dreadful, tasted banging.

 

Morning.

 

I've proper done my penance in Irishtown now. Had a meal then the majority wanted to go up there again and have a "laugh". I'm now having breakfast 50 euros up from fleecing then all at pool. I stopped drinking once we arrived there.
