Toon fan in respect. I feel for you guys. My daughter was at Wembley today with her Leeds-supporting boyfriend. He'll be gutted. Come back next season, but with the same belief and more firepower upfront. You can do it. Best wishes!

One of the most eye opening things I take from watching the games, especially recently, and I would love to be corrected or told when but I don't think we've got a head or touch on a single corner, or made use of a second ball or anything since around February when trying to score? No desire there to attack a ball at all.

Better team today but ultimately couldn't muster a goal, similar to the dip in form most recently, started well but after Southampton's first attack the confidence dented very early on, even though the score was nil - nil, that all too familiar feeling of inevitability seemed to come into realisation among the players. Too many passes half a yard behind when attacking, too much taken consistently from the ball by Rutter and Summerville. They tried but the smallest things win these games more often than not and Ampadu was a bit naive in stepping In to midfield to try win a ball he had no chance of getting, leaving an acre for Armstrong.

No real complaints, no hard luck stories. Onto next year.

Just recently got home from my friends son's mancave great watching it on such a huge screen with a projector, i don't know about you guys but after the first 20 minutes, we agreed that Leeds had their chance, and a certain veil of inevitability came over all of us, and sadly it proved to be as Southampton gave a masterclass on defending against a shot shy team, didn't get any better in the evening either as we played poker and i lost £4.81 and we only play for pennies <yikes>, so all in all it's been a sh** day. :(

Kierran McGuire getting stick on X today, he posted a tweet stating Leeds have to find £150m this summer. Plenty of others pointed out that’s total fees owing in transfer payments, we have to actually find £70m

Wober and Harrison are expected to fetch a chunk of that, Roca a possibility, reality is we are going to have to sell two players, which will allow us some replacement funds

Well. that was ****e. Didnt post yesterday as was already too pissed by half time.. lol..

Like i said to everyone who has asked me in person if we'll do it.. My response was always 'Only if we turn up' - Another game, another bottling out / not turning up. Feckin journeymen most of them. They dont give a **** about Leeds, as they all know that they can leave to another club next season so why should they care?

Its going to be an interesting off season now, will all the deserters go? It wil be interesting who will stay back. Cant imagine anymore will who can actually leave without consequence.

As a Saints fan a part of me envies you; another season in the Championship appeals more than next season in the PL.

Nothing beats the buzz of a win at Wembley though

Just remembered I called this before kick off.

Smallbone found the pocket behind our midfield which drew Ampadu out of position which gave Armstrong the freedom of Wembley.

Would playing Archie at 10 have given us more stability allowing Gruev to marshall that deep holding role denying Smallbone and Armstrong space just in front of the back 4? When Rutter plays at 10, both Hruev and Kamara seem to play a few yards further forward.

Most of our passes were backwards or behind a player.

well your season was fukced up from game 1 so stop being a silly old man you tool. also you didn't fook our season up Southampton did. I love the hanger on a ra's coming forward when there own team is a absolute shyte show lol. Thing is we have the possibility of being big again but yours will never be big. plastic supporters coming on other forums to get kicks is all you can shout about as your team is an absolute shyte show. you are very lucky your not playing Division one football never mind calling shots of easy points off us next season. your grandkids would be embarrassed at your grown man's post. some people worry me because they have kids and grandchildren and have to teach these the rights and wrongs of life but they act like the kids or Grandkids. enjoy your little rant but really you have nothing to rant about supporting the team you do.

Saints fan here: I feel this post sums yesterday up perfectly. I thought you shaded the game but, for once, we had a chance and took it. If James's shot had gone in rather than hitting the bar, I reckon you'd have won: you were all over us at that point. Fine margins for such big prizes.
