I expect him to be involved a lot. Armstrong has shown he’s not good enough at that level and even this season he’s played wide or in a deeper position a lot. They nay bring in another forward but I expect Stewart to involved a reasonable amount.

 

So many people wrote Martin off at the start of the season, done a great job for arguably the weakest of the 3 relegated squads. Beat Leeds all 3 times they’ve played this season.

 

Hopefully that’s a few more million getting sent over for the Stewart deal

Leeds were so so poor today. With them attackers they barely threatened. Glad they've stayed down and I think they may sack Farke now.

Southampton went through a poor period at the start of the season losing 4 in a row including 5-0 to us but Martin didn't make wholesale changes and stuck with his methods. Top coach.

This is exctly what I thought. At the end of the Summer transfer window.

 

Got to say fair play to him like. Was under huge pressure and stuck to his beliefs the whole way, top mentality from him.

When you look at the 24 teams in next seasons league, it must be one of the most competitive in a while. Have to make this summer count, huge opportunity for a lot of clubs, including us.

 

Southampton were my tip before the seaon ended to win the playoffs. Other than Ipswich having a freak season, there's 2 teams went straight back up with plenty Premier leauge money still filtering through them while in the Championship.

 

Get in Empoli.

 

Next season I think Burnley and Sheffield United go straight back up and Leeds win the playoffs. Too much money getting pumped through relegated teams for anyone else (Ipswich the recent exception) to have a genuine chance. Infact, from recent memory I think we're the only club to proper f**k it up wile still reviving PL TV money and parachute payments.

 

Big summer ahead for a lot of teams, Burnley would be my faves at the minute but depends who replaces Kompany

Luton should have a good squad but be interesting how they do being favourites in most games - its a different mentality all together

Sheff utd im not convinced by at all, i dont think Wilder is a great manager (was quality in his 1st spell there) and they have a big rebuild on their hands

The difference with the 3 teams that came down last season was the money they brought in on player sales was huge which gave them an even bigger advantage

Leeds should be close next season but depends on how much they make from player sales as they owe a lot of money this summer

Plenty teams will fancy themselves next season, will be another exciting championship season
