Johnny heitinga tipped to replace KM, this is the right sort of person we need to be bringing in imo, think it would be a great replacement!!
“So Manchester I’ve heard of and I’ve seen Bridgerton on Netflix. What can you tell me about this Chestersea?”
I’ve had a call from a guy called Jose who says that he’s very interested in taking over the club managed once by his mentor!
Tell me about it, Xavi is not what Ipswich and me need, I've finally got rid of him, would be just my luck he comes to Ipswich!!
"I don't believe it Mark, bumped into some guy called Nuggets, who told me to use the back entrance and I've still been papped" " Yeah Ed, I think he may have been talking about a different back entrance"
My positive take is that with Chelsea and Man Utd circling we are still attempting to keep hold of him, in days past it would be a case of ‘not standing in his way’ and ‘we can’t compete with what they offer’ but we are competing with the big boys, if he does end up going to either of them I think that might get the dander up of the owners and they will put the hammer down and dominate this league a lot sooner than originally planned.
I agree with you. In that situation as owners, I’d be setting myself a target in my mind to finish above McKenna.
According to the Times, McKenna was interviewed by Brighton on Wednesday. If that's true, he's almost certainly off one way or another and is just waiting to see if Chelsea or United come in for him this week before putting pen to paper. and... I've got to say I'm pretty shocked he considers the Brighton job to be a forward progression.
I remain puzzled and disappointed that no-one, not a single voice from the club has come out to explain what is going on. They are risking all the joy, praise and pride we have in our team's remarkable achievement. Only 20 days ago.
