Pictures on BBC website showing Celtic celebrating in the changing room. Please forgive me @The Penguin but I have seen better decor in a Brazilian toilet
18 Premier League chairman are very happy this morning, after Southampton joined Leeds in the play off final. This has saved the PL £103m in parachute payments, and the PL has conveniently cooked the books to ensure that the £103m is shared out between the other 18 clubs.
Crawley Town promoted to League One. The ex non league outfit struggle for 3,000 crowds, and their stadium is on a par with Bromley. The new Cheltenham Town. A great effort on their part but I bet we’ve got fans who will claim we shouldn’t feel entitled to beat them next season.
A similar outfit to Stevenage, both s*** places to go to as well. I'd bypass Crawley and go to Gatwick and fly somewhere.
It’s about time the 115 charges against Man City were heard. Will their four Premier League titles be rescinded if they are found guilty ?
That would restore some of my faith in the Premiership, but with their army of top lawyers it's hard to imagine.
Nothing's going to happen to Manchester City. They are above the law. The 115 charges will be dropped.
Different scenario. They were in financial difficulties which led to them being liquidated, and reformed as Glasgow Rangers, not Rangers. As I remember they were lavishly spending money they didn't have.
How embarrassing would it be for the Premier League to have to admit that the team which has lifted their trophy six times since 2017 has been abusing its financial power and blatantly cheating. All that idolising and brown-nosing of Pep and his wonder team exposed as fawning to a bunch of frauds. It's never going to happen. At worst, City will get a slap on the wrist while the charges are relentlessly explained away and played down. I don't think they will even get that. Miraculously the charges will be dropped. All a misunderstanding. Guardiola knows what's been going on. His claims of personal integrity ring totally hollow. He's been bought, body and soul. But nobody will stop it. The Middle East is gradually buying the Premier League, and buying off the conscience of everybody involved. It's a f**king disgrace.
Anyone watching the cup final today?-it use to be a big day whether your team were playing or not - obviously not us Charlton supporters since 1947
