There was a very brief time when I really did have first hand info. As a fanatical supporter I got a bit overexcited. I'm not to be trusted mate
I’ve only ever had info once, di canio next manager when he was about 40/1, told the lad to **** off and never had anything since, he had £200 on it n all the bastard
That's the problem with all the ITK ****e. Once trusted, they could hoy 200 on a 40/1 shot, start a few rumours and cash in. All to dodgy these days
Just take it all with a pinch of salt now it’s all fun and games in the dullest part of the season really, what will be will be, not a pun!
No offence, Cam, but reading that, I want him even less than before. Didn’t realise he also did ****e with Hull season before last too. He looks like he sets his team up the exact same way we’ve played this past season, which for me isn’t a good thing. I want change because what we did last season didn’t work and didn’t suit us. Why would anyone want a continuation of the way we played last season? It was awful more often than not. We switched from a high press in our first season back in the Championship where the football was far better than the mid block we played this season just gone, what Rosenior also plays, and it’s ****ing ****e to watch man. I’m desperate for someone to come in who changes things up. Don’t think Rosenior does that. I’ll get behind anyone we announce, but until then, I’m airing my thoughts, that’s all. If it’s Rosenior he’ll have my trust until he loses it, but he’d be far from my first choice. I initially wanted Still, then wanted Svensson, now back to Still.
I'm hoping whoever comes can play different tactics home and away, winning and losing, against top teams and bottom teams, with a full squad and with key players out, etc etc etc ... ... that's where Mowbray fell short imo.
.. Not particularly, he's certainly not dogmatic about it in the way that Rosenior is. Much more direct than Rosenior.
The fact Mr Still travelled down to Norwich from up here, shows he don't think we are that an attractive unit to join THATS JUST IMHO. This is gonna come down to control over incomings and non interference.
It's not a continuation at all? Yes Hull play a mid block, but they have the second most high regains of possession in the league per90, while we sit around mid table for that. So that shows they know when to press effectively, instead of just aimlessly chasing like a Preston or Stoke for example from this season. If anything, Still is more of a continuation of Beale/Dodds conservative style and Rosenior is more of a Maresca. Needs to get more out of his attacking players though in terms of creating chances and getting the ball into better positions.
There's a lot of myths flying around about the different coaches we are supposedly looking at and it's doing my head in.
