Carrick’s fell flat this season too though, in the same division. He couldn’t maintain the momentum. Kompany’s nowhere near the level to coach Bayern yet but I’d still rate him higher than Carrick.
I suppose that's my point that you can't just look at a single season in isolation. I thought Carrick was more impressive last season but both have failed to deliver this season. Kompany just did it in a more visible way which somehow makes him more marketable to Bayern? Lol go figure.
Is that your last word on the subject, and if it is will you still carry on? The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
This bloke always overstates things, the Hull Live article said they'd started scouting schools, they obviously haven't got houses, they haven't even been here yet.
His misdemeanours don't help him get taken seriously. That's his own fault. But the guy can coach apparently. His record at Birmingham has mitigating circumstances that some will choose to ignore.
If he gets the Plymouth job and it's another poor outcome, It'll be the end of his managerial carrer though imo
Another board is claiming Lee Darnbourgh has joined Stoke. Big loss if he has. WBA tried to poach him when Ehab was in charge.
You know how much many on here lauded McKenna , look what’s happening , he’s refused his new deal and is probably buggering off , That’s what happens when you achieve success you get opportunities you wouldn’t get otherwise , and the loyalty your fans expected goes out the window - and the world turns .
Or in an alternate view, he has given Ipswich probably their best 2 years for many a year, and now feels he'd like a go at a 'bigger' club, with better players, more financial clout, and a chance to get into Europe.... just a thought !
That Burnely recruitment was scattergun as **** though and they got away with it. Tried the same in the PL and fell on their arses. They've got a shed load of players too
