Things that were in the news but no longer are when they should be. Some may remember a little while back a story of 5 Bulgarians getting over £50 million in benefits over a period of 5 years. Last week they were sentenced, to over 25 years in jail (that's in total not each) or another headline up to 8 years (which means some got less)
These scam messages, I get them daily now... Yeah we get the same, so many of them. Facebook attracts all of the wrong sorts of customers for us anyway, page is coming down soon apparently. I guess with retail it is different in terms of the engagement and you are driving people to specific collections or offers on the site?
Direct to consumer requires a decent social media interaction to drive sales, I've just signed up to a fairly expensive social media advertising campaign that starts this month, I need six figure increase in sales just to break even. I'm conflicted as well, there's so much fake gear on Facebook, I resent giving them any money at all.
